Rev. Millie graduated from Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA, Emory College ('93), and Candler School of Theology ('97) in Atlanta, GA. From her foreign exchange days and backpacking throughout the world, she has been convinced that people need to travel outside of their confort zone and learn for themselves how people from all over the world share so much in common.
She was commissioned as an elder in 2000 and received into the full membership of Elders in North Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2003. She served Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church as youth minister, Leland United Methodist Church as pastor in charge, and founded Gerelt United Methodist Church in Mongolia while she was serving as missionary for the General Board of Global Ministries.
Currently she is serving as Senior Pastor at Bascomb. She is happily married to Kyung Soh, a TaeKwon-Do master and lives in Woodstock with her two dogs, Kianu Reeves and Mr. Bean and her two cats, Buddy and Spunky. Needless to say, she is a God lover, people lover, and animal lover. If you want to get to know her more, befriend her on Facebook!
